As noted on the bag, QPR high performance cold mix is specifically designed to remain somewhat pliable after application. This allows the product to continue to fill small voids and crevices, through continued compaction. Totally filling these voids prevents water (and in the winter – ice) from getting into the repaired area, and ultimately causing your patch to fail. This engineering design is why QPR® is the overwhelming choice of Highway Departments and DOT’s across Canada. Remember, you can, and should begin to drive over your patch immediately, so while it may seem like it has not ‘set up’, it is performing just as it was designed to. Should you require a faster set-up time, for whatever reason, a light sprinkling of mortar dust, or Portland cement, will help to speed the curing process.
Yes. Just seal the bag opening tightly, and the remaining material will stay usable for up to one-year. In a couple months, you’ll be ready for that winter pothole that always appears at the end of your driveway.
Yes you can. Depending on the quantity you need, we can either produce some bulk material directly at your location or we can put you in contact with one of our distributors. Please go to the “contact us” page to contact your local QPR representative.
What separates our product from the rest is our proprietary, water-repelling additive. Our additive will allow you to repair the damaged pavement area without the need to remove any water. Simply remove any lose debris and compact the material in two inch increments. Furthermore, each batch that we produce throughout the country is specifically blended for the climate.
Simply fill out the distributor form on our website and your local QPR representative will contact you shortly.

If you are looking for a full load of material, or 800 tons, with a production rate of 300 tons per hour, we can have this load completed within three hours.
Yes you do. The reason for this is that our gradation has been specifically crafted in order to generate a high performing spec. The gradation we have provided you will provide your material with the best chance to perform.

It most certainly can. All that is required from your end is to crush the RAP down to a manageable size such as ¾”. Our equipment has a spray bar at the end of the unit so that once your rejuvenating tanker is connected to our pugmill, it will properly coat and mix the RAP. Setup time is less then 10 minutes!
No you do not. We guarantee our material in an uncovered stockpile for a period of one year.

QPR® 50lb 6690 Hot-Applied Crack Sealant is a flexible, rubber-like commercial grade product that is used to repair cracks of any length or width in asphalt pavements. It starts out as a solid, rubber block which is then melted in a special kettle and is heated to 375 degrees F. Once melted, the crack filler is applied to the cracks. The crack filler hardens up deep inside the crack, sealing out moisture from penetrating the asphalt. This prevents it from causing further crack development and promotes a long lasting repair and an attractive appearance.
After QPR® 50lb 6690 Hot-Applied Crack Sealant has been applied and allowed to cool, it is designed to remain flexible, allowing it to expand and contract with the outside air climate. It is normal for this type of material to flex to the touch. It will also temporarily retain car tire treads if parked on.
If you park directly on top of QPR® 50lb 6690 Hot-Applied Crack Sealant with hot tires after a prolonged drive at highway speeds may cause the crack filler to pull up. Hot tires can re-heat the crack filler, causing it to adhere to the tire when it cools. A small portion of the hot pour crack filler is pulled up with the tire when the vehicle is later moved. It is best to not park on the crack filler when the tires are hot.
Almost immediately! Pavement sealer can be applied to QPR® 50lb 6690 Hot-Applied Crack Sealant within 5-10 minutes.
The texture of the crack filler is smoother than the texture of the asphalt causing it to be visible through the seal coat. This is unavoidable if you want your driveway protected.
Yes you can. Simply contact one of your local QPR representatives and they can provide you with a 5 gallon sample for trial purposes.
QPR asphalt anti-stick agent arrives as a finished product in either a 185 kg drum or 900 kg tote. Prior to application, make sure that the product is properly re-mixed. This can be done by shaking the drum or tote. Although the recommended dosage rate varies for each location, if you are using it in a paving application, a dosage rate of 4 parts water to 1 part solution is recommended. Please refer to the products MSDS and Technical Sheet for more information.
We have pugmill operators who are trained to operate our equipment as efficiently and safely as possible. All quotations will include one of our operators.

No, thanks to our network of portable equipment and the fact that it is very easy and convenient to move, there isn’t a place in Canada that we cannot service with our equipment.
Yes it is. Many crews have yet to find a solution to prevent asphalt tracking or pickup and as a result, are still using diesel fuel. QPR asphalt anti-stick is a much friendly alternative that will not weaken the asphalt, as diesel fuel does.
